Registered Biokineticist, Pilates Instructor,
Gym Bunny, Aerialist & Climbing Fanatic

Hi! I'm Shandré

I am so glad you are here. I've got to be honest off the bat, I am not great at talking about myself, but you wanted to know more about the person you are thinking about trusting with your health, rehabilitation and fitness goals.

So here we go...

I myself am a gym fanatic, and I do really believe that exercise can enrich everyone's lives. I was convinced of this fact even before I went

to study Biokinetics. Once I realised that I could make this

passion & conviction my job and help other people experience the same, I never looked back.

I am thorough, knowledgeable, and I get such a buzz when clients reach their goals and when I get to help people be pain-free or have a more enriched quality of life.

I love being able to give people hope, that didn't know life can be better. And here is another important side note about me:

You need to know that you're not alone in the process: I have been through it myself. I ended up with a herniated disc in my lower back, two incidents of whiplash, meniscus tear, a hamstring strain and I also dislocated my knee. The road to recovery has been tough, and I know first-hand how difficult this path can be, but it is truly worth it.

I understand the ups and downs, the emotional rollercoaster that comes with rehab, the grit it takes to keep going... I get it. 100%.

And with that in mind, give me a shout. I would love to help YOU on your road to recovery or for you to achieve your goals.

Introduction to Hydrotherapy

Hosted by University of Johannesburg

Hydrotherapy is also known as water therapy. It involves specific exercises that are done in a warm-water pool with temperatures ranging between 33-36°C. Hydrotherapy is different to aqua-aerobics as it is slow and controlled movements.

This is best suited for individuals who cannot fully weight bear or perform land-based exercises. Conditions that benefit from hydrotherapy are individuals with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacement surgery, lumbargo, ankylosing spondylitis, dislocation to name a few.

Geneway Genetics & Geneway Sports Program

Hosted by Geneway Institute

Geneway Genetics

This course provided me with the knowledge to analyse and interpret the results from a Sport genetics test. After which I am able to design an exercise program based off the genetic test that will allow the individual to improve performance and training results.

Geneway Sport program

An individual will be required to do a GenewaySport genetic test. Once the client receives the test results, these will be interpreted by myself to determine the type of exercise program the individual or athlete should follow to ensure optimal results are achieved.

The test shows an individual’s energy source, response to caffeine, risk for inflammation and injury, oxidative stress ability, muscle and bone composition, endurance and power potential and susceptibility to injury and recovery time.

This type of test can be done for an athlete who wants to improve their performance, an individual who feels that they have reached a training plateau or simply an individual who is curious about their training genetics.

Do contact me if you are interested! It is an amazing tool to gain deeper insights into the way

YOUR body works!
